Individual Part Plating at Summit offers a range of process and surface coating options. We offer both Electroplating and Auto-catalytic (or “Electro-less”) plating of loose piece parts to meet your surface specification requirements.

Auto-catalytic  plating of loose parts can be a difficult process to administer consistently. Over the last 75+ years, Summit’s R&D, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing groups have worked together to unlock the secrets for mastering this plating procedure.

The performance of our Parts Plating Division reliably meets a wide range of program requirements. These range from Aerospace-related NADCAP Quality Assured and Certified Chemical Processing operations to meeting tight Electronics Industry tolerances for Gold- and Silver-Plated connectors and contact components.

Summit Barrel Plating.

Our proficiency in Barrel provides quality results with finish characteristics and pricing efficiencies to meet budget project specifications. Barrel Plating involves individual or “loose” parts being control-tumbled in a barrel to ensure even plating results.
