A Plating Company Facility rich in manufacturing history.
Well before Summit Plating called it “home,” our plating facility at 1430 Waterbury Road, Thomaston, CT enjoyed a rich history of supporting manufacturing and industry.
In the 1950s, the location was home to Reliable Factory Supply Co., a company known for making the Reliable Pattern Tacker, Staples, and other “cutting room supplies” distributed globally to the textile industry.
In the 1930s, Waterbury Screw Machine Products Company occupied the space, manufacturing precision screw machined parts.
Today, Summit carries forward Thomaston’s legacy of being a hub for supporting industry. We are proud to operate there as we continue to advance our Summit Plating Company Facility.
Summit is conveniently located less han an hour from Bradlee International and Oxford Waterbury Airports
